There is a variety of family groups that are available from Home-Start Shepway. We offer a free, safe and friendly environment that provides children with an opportunity to express themselves through play.

For families living in Hawkinge and the surrounding area. The group meets on Thursdays between 9.30am and 11.30am at the Community Centre, Heron Forstal Avenue, Hawkinge, Folkestone, Kent CT18 7BP.

We hold a Yaps group (Young Active Parents) on Thursdays at Home-start Shepway, on Thursdays from 12.30 to 2.30pm. This group is suitable for parents up to the age of 18.

There is also a follow on group for these parents who are up to 20 years, this group runs on Wednesdays between 12.00 to 2.30pm at The Village Children’s Centre, Denmark Street Folkestone, Kent CT19 6EQ

"SPARKS" (supporting parents and R kids) which is held every Tuesday at the Home-Start Shepway building from 11.30 till 1.30. This group is organised by Lizzie and Rosie two young parents and a light lunch is provided. They have many Activities such as "All About Me Books/Scrap Books" Holistic Play - importance of Play, Messy Play with Textures, Swimming and Cooking on a healthy budget.
