Get Support for Your Family
Home‑Start Shepway helps parents and children through life’s toughest times with compassionate, practical, and confidential support.

Supporting Families Through Life’s Challenges
Being a parent can be lonely, frustrating, overwhelming, and at times heart-breaking. All parents face difficulties at one time or another. Home‑Start Shepway is here to help families through their toughest times, offering support that is compassionate, confidential, and non‑judgemental.
We work with families to build on their strengths and provide the support they tell us they need, including:
-
Home-visiting support from trained volunteers
-
Group support and community sessions
-
Parenting programmes to develop skills and confidence
-
Trips and outings for families and children
-
Online support and one-to-one phone sessions
The Rural Project
Funded by the Kent Community Foundation, the Rural Project reaches families living in rural and isolated areas, particularly in Romney Marsh. Families can access support one-to-one or in groups within their local community.
Our group at Dymchurch School is open to all families with preschool children.
